Building Physics

As part of our comprehensive approach to the design and assessment of green and sustainable buildings, we provide the services of authorized civil engineers in building physics and energy performance certification. 

1/ Building daylighting and insolation - assessment of daylighting reports of building daylighting and direct solar insolation. 

2/ Building thermal protection - Thermal protection reports for the building construction’s thermal and moisture performance assessment. 

3/ Energy Performance Certification - building energy performance certificate production 

4/ Building acoustics and noise protection - measurements of sound insulation properties of building constructions, room acoustics measurements, indoor and outdoor noise measurements, traffic noise measurements, noise studies, and room and building acoustic reports. 

5/ Experimental measurements of building constructions and indoor climate - experimental measurements of building constructions (surface temperature, U-value, infra-red method) and indoor climate (air temperature, operative temperature, air velocity, relative humidity) as well as outdoor climate parameters (ambient temperature, solar irradiance, wind speed and direction, and relative humidity). In collaboration with our partner in the EU, we can also provide laboratory measurements of building components (windows and curtain walls).
