What are the advantages of KNX?

KNX brings real (extra) added value to the electrical installation. KNX brings many advantages:

• more safety (from fire, burglary, damage...)

• more flexibility (installation adapts to the user and not the other way around)

• more possibilities (many additional functions such as switching clocks, central functions...)

• more communication (connects all disciplines to each other)

• more energy efficiency

Imagine, one doesn’t wish it upon someone, but it can happen to anyone. How would it be for someone if, due to an accident, they became wheelchair-bound or bedridden? Or you will get old and weak. And all of us are going to get old one day ☺

Those persons would depend much more on external help with an old conventional electrical installation. But not with KNX.

With a KNX installation, you can remotely control all KNX functions with relatively little effort via a wireless network (e.g., via a network visualization with an iPhone, iPad, or tablet PC).

Doesn’t this level of security for emergencies or older people speak for itself?

Many new construction projects are still being built without proper building technology and planning for the future. Maybe together we can change that.
