What are the disadvantages of KNX?

In our opinion, there are no disadvantages to KNX! 

KNX is constantly associated with “expensive” for everyone who is not informed enough. But that's incorrect. In fact, if you refer to KNX as expensive, you’re comparing apples to oranges! 

It is like a car. Which one do you choose and why?

KNX offers you more possibilities than an old conventional electrical installation, and therefore, the two cannot be compared with one another.

KNX should be considered as an “extra accessory” to the electrical installation. If you ever had bought a car you know, every little “extra” in the list of accessories costs more. This is no different in an electrical installation. KNX is a “special accessory” like an air conditioner or a parking sensor in a car. Those who want more comfort will have to pay for it.

Properly designed and implemented KNX systems are very reliable and trouble-free.

Many new construction projects are still being built without proper building technology and planning for the future. Maybe together we can change that.
